DB2 DBA

Location :Des Moines, IA

 

Expertise in one or more of the following:

·         7 + years of Db2 DBA Experience in Mainframe Db2 environment

·         Mainframe skills (JCL/TSO/etc.)

·         Strong technical working knowledge of DB2 on Z/OS in a data sharing environment

·         Experience in SQL tuning and database design

·         Experience with BMC and IBM DB2 utilities

·         Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation

·         of various factors relating to Mainframe DB2 Database.

·         Able to communicate effectively with peers, managements & other technical support personnel in a

·         diverse global environment

·         Desired:

·         Mainframe DB2 Performance Skills a significant plus

·         Programming background a plus

·         Understanding of CICS programming with Db2 a plus

·         Experience with BMC Mainframe DB2 tool suite a plus (Change Manager, Catalog Manager, Main view)

 

Preferred:

·         Knowledge of ACF2 managed security for DB2 access a plus
