Notes: Practice was a single 50 minute session. There were a number of drivers that had tire issues, including Briscoe, Bell,  Allmendinger, Suarez, Bell, and Herbst. Briscoe’s team had to do some suspension work. Herbst’s flat forced him into contact with the outside wall. Midway through the session, Allmendinger has a second incident and made hard contact with the inside wall. He will have to go to a backup car.Larson made slight contact with the outside wall late in the session, no damage. Due to all the issues, practice was extended by 10 minutes.

#11-Corey Heim did what he’s done all season at the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway; dominated the race, swept the opening stages, and wowed in the closing laps to pull off an overtime comeback to win his 12th race of the season and the 2025 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series championship.
It was his first race win at Phoenix, and the 23rd of his career.
A caution sent the race into overtime on lap 150 while Heim rode second, and while the other playoff contenders chose two-tire changes, Heim’s crew opted for four. He lined up for the restart from the 10th position. When the green flag dropped, his fresh tires allowed him to drop low on track, riding a jaw-dropping seven-wide dash for position.
Heim climbed his way into second behind #98-Ty Majeski before another yellow dropped, forcing a repeat overtime restart. Heim chose the inside while Majeski lined up on the outside lane. The fresh tires were all Heim needed for the final two laps as he drove to the win.
The 2024 champion Majeski, finished second.
#52-Kaden Honeycutt was in contention all race long as well and finished third, lining up behind Heim for the final restart.
#18-Tyler Aknkrum, the final playoff driver, finished 14th after being involved in the final caution of the night.
#34-Layne Riggs started from the pole, but inspection failures forced him to relinquish his starting position and serve a penalty at the start. He clawed his way through the field and led 24 laps up until the first overtime caution on lap 150. He finished fourth.
#71-Rajah Caruth, #13-Jake Garcia, #77-Corey LaJoie, #38-Chandler Smith, #41-Tyler Reif in his series debut, and #91-Jack Wood closed out the top-10.
There were 10 lead changes among six drivers and seven cautions for 42 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 87.434mph.
