#20-Brandon Jones won the pole for the MillerTech Battery 250 Presented by KOA O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Pocono Raceway at a speed of 164.576 mph. It’s his first pole at Pocono in 11 starts.
Joe Gibbs Racing swept the front row with #54-Taylor Gray turning the second-quickest lap (164.387 mph). #88-William Byron will start third (164.273 mph), with #7-Justin Allgaier (164.240 mph) and #8-Sammy Smith (163.866 mph) rounding out the top five.
#9-Carson Kvapil, #41-Sam Mayer, #19-Brent Crews, #39-Ryan Sieg and #18-William Sawalich complete the top 10.
Five cars didn’t make a qualifying lap. #42-Nathan Byrd, #31-Blaine Perkins and #91-Dexter Bean all wrecked during their timed lap.
