Who’s Racing in the 2026 Indy 500?
There are only 33 cars entered in this year's Indianapolis 500. The 25 chartered teams, plus part-time entries from Arrow McLaren, Dreyer & Reinbold, AJ Foyt Enterprises, Meyer Shank Racing, RLL Racing, Abel Motorsports and Ed Carpenter Racing.
 
Indianapolis 500 Qualifying Procedure Updated
With no bumping at Indianapolis this year, the qualifying procedure has been updated to create a Fast 15 where drivers will compete for starting spots in the first five rows.
