#45-Tyler Reddick will start on the pole for the Jack Link’s 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway after qualifying was rained out Saturday morning. The lineup was set by the rulebook. The starting order was determined by NASCAR’s qualifying metric, which is based 70% on the previous race finish by owner and 30% on current owner points position.
#5-Kyle Larson will start second followed by #11-Denny Hamlin, #23-Bubba Wallace, #19-Chase Briscoe, #6-Brad Keselowski, #24-William Byron, #9-Chase Elliott, #54-Ty Gibbs, and #17-Chris Buescher.
#62-Casey Mears did not qualify because the team is lowest in owner points of those entered.

#2-Jesse Love won the pole for the Ag-Pro 300 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Talladega Superspeedway (182.313 mph). It’s his fourth consecutive pole at Talladega (longest streak in track history), and the 10th of his career. Richard Childress Racing have won the last eight Talladega pole awards.
#41-Sam Mayer will line up on the front row after being quickest in the opening round of qualifying (182.168 mph). #17-Corey Day will start third (181.974 mph), with #92-Josh Williams (181.949 mph) and #00-Sheldon Creed (181.946 mph) rounding out the top five.
#21-Austin Hill, #88-Rajah Caruth, #1-Carson Kvapil, #96-Anthony Alfredo and #91-Mason Maggio complete the top 10.
