 Kaulig Racing confirms Brenden Queen for Ram Truck program (NASCAR Trucks)
Kaulig Racing’s incoming Craftsman Truck Series program with Ram has its first driver.
“A big thanks to Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice, RAM, and everyone at Kaulig Racing for this opportunity,” Queen said in a team release. “I’m just a short-track kid who’s worked hard every day, never really knowing if I’d ever make it to this level. I’m very thankful for this chance and can’t wait to get rolling with RAM and Kaulig Racing. The goals are simple: build a winning team and chase championships.”
Thursday’s news is the next logical step for Queen, who has completed consecutive title-winning campaigns in CARS Tour Late Model Stock and ARCA competition. The Virginian won eight races and secured 17 top-fives in 20 ARCA starts this year. He’s also a three-time track champion at Langley Speedway.
He’s already been integrating with Kaulig, making a pair of starts in the No. 11 Chevrolet left open by Josh Williams’ mid-season exit, with a best result of ninth at Kansas Speedway. Queen is expected to finish out the 2025 season in the ride.
Queen should be a lead driver for the new program, which is set to bring Stellantis’ Ram brand back to the Truck Series for the first time since its 2012 exit. The 27-year-old has four prior Truck starts, with a best result of fourth in his 2024 debut at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Russell, Antonelli continuing with Mercedes in 2026 (F1)
After months of rumor and scuttlebutt, Mercedes is sticking with the status quo for the 2026 Formula 1 season.
The company announced Thursday that it will continue on with both George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli next year, finally providing a long-expected conclusion to a silly season storyline that got surprisingly uncertain over the early summer.
“Confirming our driver line-up was always just a matter of when, not if,” team principal Toto Wolff said in a release. “We wanted to take our time, handle the negotiations properly and make sure everyone, on all sides, was happy. I’m pleased we have done that.
“George and Kimi have proved a strong pairing and we’re excited to continue our journey together. Our focus is now on the final six races of the year, as we fight for second in the Constructors’ Championship, and onwards to 2026 and a new era in F1.”
Antonelli arrived at Mercedes as a promising replacement for the Ferrari-bound Lewis Hamilton this year. He was paired with Russell, the team’s long-term prospect that was finally set to emerge as its lead driver m moving forward.
That left Mercedes with little expected drama for 2026. But over a tumultuous spring and early summer for Red Bull, rumors emerged of a potential Mercedes leap for four-time defending champion Max Verstappen. That, paired with lengthy contract negotiations with Russell, pushed the confirmation of Mercedes’ 2026 lineup far beyond initial expectations.
But in the end, nothing’s changed - at least for this year. Verstappen confirmed his Red Bull return over the summer and Russell has signed a contract extension.
Chatter over Verstappen could continue for 2027, after the first year of F1’s overhauled regulations. Mercedes’ release only indicated that Russell and Antonelli will continue “into 2026” with the team.

High Limit Racing: It’s the final week of the season for High Limit, which means two separate titles were up for grabs. The first was decided Wednesday night, as Brent Marks outlasted Aaron Reuther to claim victory in the final Roto-Rooter Midweek Series race of 2025 at Lucas Oil Speedway. (HighLimitRacing.com)
That victory was just enough to help Rico Abreu hold on to the series championship. Reutzel took pole and led the opening 17 laps, but fell one spot short of the title after Marks held on to win.

For the longest time, winning a Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas required qualifying excellence. The first 10 winners at the track all came from the front row. But the past two years have seen Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc win from sixth and fourth, respectively. So if your favorite driver falls a hair short of the front row for Sunday’s race, you don’t have to hit the panic button just yet.
