That was predictable, but the battle at the cutline brought the drama. Ross Chastain held the final transfer spot into the closing laps, but was on the defensive as Joey Logano and others marched forward on fresher tires. Seeing a Denny Hamlin pass push him
below the line on the final lap, Chastain tried to shove him out of the way in the final chicane only to send them both spinning around. Chastain backed across the line, but the damage was done
Logano got the last spot. Chastain, Tyler Reddick, Bubba Wallace and Austin Cindric were eliminated.
