GET OUT YOUR CALENDAR!  With less than a year in office under their belts, our new SCASD Board of Directors are doing just what they promised…engaging the community, opening the process and starting a new District Wide Master Plan.  Kudos to the SCASB for hearing our concerns, working cooperatively and for moving forward!

 

How can you help?   The first community sessions for the SCASD Master Plan begin next week.  We encourage you to attend one or more of the area meetings that start next week.  Each neighborhood meeting is open to everyone  - don’t feel that you have to be limited to your neighborhood school.    These are informal meetings designed to provide residents of the District opportunities to express their questions, concerns and thoughts about individual school(s) and district facilities in general.  All district facilities, including the high school, will be addressed in the Master Plan. 

All meetings are scheduled from 6:30 - 8pm

Tuesday  Sept 23                Houserville Elementary School or Park Forest Elementary 

Wednesday Sept 24            Mt. Nittany Middle School or High School South 

Thursday Sept 25                Ferguson Township Elementary
