State High Vision UPDATE

October 3, 2007

Mark your calendars!  Election Day is November 6, 2007.  State High Vision cannot intervene or endorse any candidates but we can support the process.  We urge all citizens – regardless of your viewpoint -  to exercise your rights and vote!   Our mission has been to support taxpayer participation in decisions that impact our community.

If you are not registered to vote in Centre County, it’s easy to do!  (From the Centre Co. Website at http://www.co.centre.pa.us/elections/elect.asp#register)

Registration forms are available at the Election Office, most banks, post offices, municipal offices and libraries. You may also download the form and print it out yourself:

Mail the completed registration form to:

Voter Registration and Elections
Willowbank Building
420 Holmes St.
Bellefonte, PA 16823-1488

You may also use the registration forms or onscreen application found at the Pennsylvania Department of State Website, VotesPA.

The last day before the General Primary Election to change name/party/address or to register is October 9, 2007. A new ID card, listing your polling place, will be mailed to you. If you are unsure if you are still registered and/or unsure of where you vote, it is suggested that you contact the Election Office PRIOR TO OCTOBER 9.
