US admits to primary responsibility for WikiLeaks fiasco
----------------------------------------------------------------
By Our Correspondent
WASHINGTON, Dec 9: The US State Department says it agrees with the Australian foreign minister that the primary responsibility for the leak of diplomatic cables existed within the United States government. Australia’s Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd said on Wednesday that the US government and whoever originally leaked 250,000 diplomatic cables should bear the responsibility for any security breaches – not the Australian WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange...

l read my entire conversation with Ghayur sb. It proves beyond doubt that Wiki are a deleberately planted Psy-ops by Israeli gangsters.

THis is exactly what happned with leaks on India which wiki later removed from their site. But this news that Israel had planned nuke attack on US cities and then blame them on Pak is a dangerous catastrophic intel. we must warn all those who are in power today that such a plan has been made.

all groups should use the following quote of Dr. Ghayur ayub. He has allowed us to refer to him for the info. This is deadly critical...

A Missing Wikileak?

by

Dr Ghayur Ayub

Tickers on different news channels were running fast at the bottom of the television screen. It was the evening before the next batch of Wikileaks were due for publication. I made sure to buy The Guardian - one of five newspapers publishing the documents. With remote control in hand, I was browsing through Sky News, BBC, CNN, Al-Jazeera and Press TV. To the best of my recollection, it was Sky News which caught my eye. The breaking news referred to a planned Israeli nuclear attack on two American cities, which were to be linked to Pakistan. America would have had a cause to respond in kind and take out Pakistani nuclear sites. I couldn't believe my eyes! I rewound the news to double check what I had just read. Thinking details would be published in the Guardian newspaper the following day I did not record it. Later, I rang a friend and told him about the mind boggling news. The bizarre news kept me awake most of the night.

The next day I got the newspaper and went through it page by page. To my surprise, the “ticker news” could not be seen anywhere. I read it a couple of times but failed to find the particular piece. I could not understand how the newspaper missed such an important part of the leak? In pursuit, I opened the Wikileaks’ website and browsed through it carefully; no luck again. Then, I Googled relevant questions pertaining to Israel; still no luck! To make it more direct, I refined my search based on the information I had read on television. Again no reference. The news had just disappeared from cyberspace. Doubts started emerging whether I had really seen that segment which was embedded in my mind despite me vividly remembering its content. In fact I called a friend about it. So what happened to the news?

The only explanation I can think of is that the news item must have leaked out by mistake and then swiftly been retracted. After all it is common knowledge that the leaks are selective. I have no idea who else watched it during that brief period it was on the air. Was it a coincidence that at that very moment I was browsing through the channels? Many would say yes. But I don't believe in coincidences. I call them part of 'cosmic language'. All it means is that nature talks to us in its own language that has no syllabi. I may write on this subject some other time. But for now I had to find the 'missing leak'.

During my search I came to know about a basic fact that even the embarrassment factor was not that high for the politicians and foreign diplomats as they all understood each other and routinely lied which explains the uniformity in their reaction to the leaks by denying them. It also became apparent that the leaks related to Israel were primarily Iran-centric and that Iran's nukes pose an “existentialist threat” to Israel. It was interesting to find that before the leaks were publicized Natanyahu did not think they would seriously damage Israel’s position. No wonder when he visited jubilantly Tel Aviv's Beit Sokolow, the home of the Israeli Journalists Association, for the prime minister's annual meeting with the Editors Committee, he was all smiles. This is the place where Ben Gurion used to hold secret meetings. Last year he skipped the event; however, this time around it was different because of the Wikileaks publication. He showed up to display his political command by sticking to his public agenda and sending a message to the White House of what was befalling President Obama. As if he knew there was now no fear that Washington would persist on the question of a settlement freeze or to accelerate negotiations on withdrawal from the territories. He felt confident that the settlement issue would take a back seat and it was time to press on other issues such as extremism in Arab and Muslim world.

At Beit Sokolow he announced “no one will now be able to allege that Israel is acting irresponsibly”. Then he spoke about the Arab leaders urging them to “speak openly about Iran what they have been whispering to the Americans” Speaking his language in an interview with Time Magazine, Julian Assange sent an identical message "We can see the Israeli Prime Minister [Benjamin] Natanyahu coming out with a very interesting statement that leaders should speak in public like they do in private whenever they can".

Natanyahu was proud that Israel maintained information security and that sensitive conversations were not conveyed in diplomatic cables but in face-to-face meetings or via secure telephones. For a split second that “mysterious ticker” flashed back and I thought if only Natanyahu knew that a blunder had been committed by someone somewhere exposing Israel's intentions to start a nuclear nightmare!

He seemed content with the outcome of Wikileaks, ignoring what Huseyin Celik, the deputy leader of Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan's AKP Party had said about Israel. Celic accused Israel of engineering the leaks, questioning how Israel could announce before the release that it would not suffer from its publication. He queried, “How did they know that?”

Instead, Natanyahu was quoting Arab leaders from Egypt, Jordan and Persian Gulf States, that they were also fearful of the Iranian threat. He was right in his statement because Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi warned, “Iran will threaten Israel's existence should it go nuclear." He called Ahmadinejad a “Hitler”, proposing that “if air strikes will not do the job in Iran the ground troops should be sent in.” Similarly, Saudi King Abdullah wanted the U.S. to “cut off the head of the snake”. Another UAE leader gave his reasons for Iran-bashing by saying that “Iran is establishing ‘sleeper emirates’ across the Muslim world including south Lebanon, Gaza, Kuwait, Bahrain and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia with the mother of all ‘emirates’ in southern Iraq and now in Yemen.” Similar sentiments were heard from other pro-American leaders in the Arab world. One Israeli official stated, “the Arab countries are pushing United States towards military action more forcefully than Israel”.

As opposed to these reports the American intellectual Noam Chomsky cited a Brookings Institution poll that 80 per cent of Arabs consider Israel as the main threat followed by the U.S. at 77 per cent. Only 10 per cent rated Iran as a danger. He concluded by stating, “When they talk about Arabs, they mean the Arab dictators, not the population, which is overwhelmingly opposed to the conclusions that the analysts-Clinton and the media-have drawn.” According to another report, the Arab rulers “dare follow the American line completely, particularly if this includes a strike against Iran if they did, they’d risk popular revolts”.

I found nothing but Iran-centric Wikileaks in the Jerusalem Post and other Israeli newspapers. They were reminiscent of the "Zimmermann Telegram" during World War I. The declassified documents of history tell us that in early 1917 the British cryptography unit ("Room 40" ) decoded a telegram from German Foreign Minister Arthur Zimmermann to his country's embassy in Mexico City proposing that the Mexicans launch a war against United States and retake Texas. The British showed the telegram to American diplomats. It prompted the Congress and U.S. President Woodrow Wilson to declare war on Germany which contributed to Germany's defeat at the end of 1918.

A few months after this episode of the "Zimmermann Telegram" the Bolshevik Revolution took place in Russia. The new leadership wanted to declassify the documents of the Czar's Foreign Ministry. The task was given to Leon Trosky - the people's commissar for foreign affairs. One of the documents revealed the 1916 Sykes-Picot Agreement in which Britain and France planned how they would carve up the Ottoman Empire and also promised a hefty slice to Russia which desired Istanbul and the Black Sea straits. What if the secrets were revealed at that time? Would it have changed the history?

The point I am trying to make is that exposure of secrets can influence events if they appear at the right moment, as in the case of the Zimmermann telegram. So what could be the reason for Wikileaks and how will it affect short and long-term relations amongst Muslim countries vis-a-vis pro-Israel lobbies in America. Would Natanyahu be resting in a comfort zone and constantly pressurizing Obama to stop interfering in the internal matters of Israel especially the settlements issue had the 'missing leak' been circulated? Here comes the million dollar question. Is there a 'missing leak' exposing Israel's heinous motives despite the leaked documents stating that “there is no Israel lobby involvement to involuntarily force US in a war to serve Jewish interests” and that “the world opinion is wielding towards declaring Iran as the head of a snake that must be cut off as the Saudi potentate described it”Not many would believe in the existence of such a 'missing leak'. Even my own lawyer daughter thinks I may have misread the news. But deep down, I know what I saw and read that evening. Perhaps 50 years from now this “ticker news” may show up in a slue of declassified documents similar to Zimmerman's secret telegram. The leaked telegram changed the course of history but the 'missing leak' cannot; as long as it remains missing.

The end

Now this is interesting and can be quoted.

RSS deadlier than Al-Qaeda, Indian state legislator says

By SHAHID RAZA BURNEY | ARAB NEWS

Published: Dec 10, 2010 23:15 Updated: Dec 10, 2010 23:15

NAGPUR, India: The Samajwadi Party legislator Abu Asim Azmi created a furor in a session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Friday when he alleged that according to the WikiLeaks disclosure the Hindu militant organization Rashtriya Sevak Sangh (RSS) was a thousand times more dangerous than the Al-Qaeda.

This remark by Azmi drew strong protests from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena (SS) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) legislators. An agitated Azmi had to leave the house in huff stating he was being interrupted and not being allowed to put forth his point of views on the issue in the Assembly.

“It has been exposed in the WikiLeaks as to how a thousand times more dangerous is the RSS than the Al Qaeda. Therefore I demand that strong and stern action must be taken against the RSS,” Azmi told the Assembly.

Responding to Azmi, NJP firebrand legislator Devendra Phadnavis said: “Azmi by tabling an irrelevant issue was misguiding the Assembly.”

Other BJP legislators supported Phadnavis allegation against Azmi.

Azmi, frustrated by the continued interruption of his speech by the opposition, complained to the Assembly deputy speaker Vasant Purke who told Azmi that though the issue raised by him was irrelevant, but still he was accepting the issue raised by Azmi as part of general interest. But the Sena and BJP legislators continued raising slogans against Azmi, forcing him to walk out of the Assembly in protest against the saffron alliance legislators.

Congress legislator from Mumbai Baba Siddiqui also created a stir in the house when he alleged that Shiv Sena working President Uddhav Thackeray was receiving money from two Mumbai-based industrial houses, based on the intercepted phone recordings between Tata Group spokeswoman Shalani and Public Relations Corporate chief Nira Radia.

Siddiqui made the allegations against Uddhav of accepting money from the two industrial houses – Reliance and Tata Group of Companies. Since Siddiqui made this allegation in English, the Sena legislators failed to grasp the allegations as there was no protest from them. However, BJP legislator Phadnavis responded to Siddiqui and stated that there was no connection of Uddhav with the tapes.

“It is not proper to connect the discussions on the power problems with the tapes. Therefore Siddiqui should not make false and fabricated allegations against Uddhav,” Phadnavis stated.

The Sena legislator woke up only after Phadnavis responded and protested against the allegations leveled by Siddiqui against their leader. Later Siddiqui handed over the tapes to the Assembly speaker.

Politicising India's darkest hour

Congress leader Digvijay Singh is at it again. The latest salvo from him not only leaves him resembling a loose cannon but is in line with, and feeds into, the narrative that anti-India conspiracy theorists have been spinning in Pakistan since the 26/11 attack on Mumbai.

Who's Digvijay batting for?

It is almost as if he took a page out of the ISI/LeT disinformation manual by trying to imbue the Mumbai terror attacks of the night of 26/11 and the killing of ATS Chief Hemant Karkare with a domestic/Hindu terror tinge.

This neatly segues in with the anti-India fiction brigade across the border (led by Zaid Hamid) who have been, since the first moments of 26/11, characterising it as a carefully stage-managed "drama" by the right wing forces in India to defame Pakistan, and to terrorise and eliminate officers who are investigating Hindu terror connections.

How come, they asked, that within the first few hours of the Mumbai attack, the head of the ATS Hemant Karkare (who was also heading the inquiry into the Malegaon blast, where it was alleged that some radical Hindu groups were involved) was shot dead?

Mere coincidence, you would say. But not for the India baiters from across the border. The killing of Karkare, along with two other senior officers, within hours of the attack; plus the "saffron band" worn by Kasab - indicating that he was an Hindu/non-Muslim(?); and that they "did not look at all like Pakistanis", were enough to convince the rabid elements across the border that it was an "Indian drama". And, believe me I am not making this up.

These are the same elements who questioned the 9/11 attack, which, according to them, was also an event stage-managed by the "Jews" and the right wing in America to malign the Muslims and use it as a pretext to invade Muslim lands and control its resources. Read: Oil.

Who's Digvijay batting for?

However, since David Headley's (the LeT operative) arrest the chatter had died down among the conspiracy theorists, but now Digvijay Singh's statement that Karkare had called him only hours before the Mumbai attack to tell him that he feared for his own life from Hindu extremists, only lends fuel for a fresh bout of conspiracy cries from the anti-India elements in our neighbourhood. (This claim of Singh's has been contested by a leading daily in India which said that a perusal of the phone records show that no such call was made; this corroborates Karkare's wife's claims that indeed no such call was made; see related stories).

The Congress party has distanced itself from Singh's statement saying that the party "had nothing to do with as it was a conversation between two individuals". That is neither here nor there. That one of the seniormost party leaders was insinuating a domestic angle to what has widely been accepted as cross border terrorism should have elicited a more unambiguous response from the Congress.

If the party believes that there was some credence to the Singh statement it should have gone on record to say that Singh's insinuations should be probed to unravel the facts; or if it believed that Singh was off course, it should have at the least issued a strong reprimand, especially there is not an iota of evidence to show that an internal hand was at play in Karkare's tragic death.

Is Singh's allegation unwitting or off the cuff? Strangely it is the former American Ambassador to India at the time who seems to have clued-in on to the plausible explanation.

Who's Digvijay batting for?

In his cables to Washington from New Delhi, since revealed by WikiLeaks, the Ambasador was on the Karkare issue but was responding to an earlier avatar of Singh, namely A R Antulay, then the Union Minority Affairs minister. The senior Congress leader Antulay claimed that there were "Hindutva forces" involved in the 26/11 attacks. Given the public uproar that the remark caused coming so close to the events, Home Minister P Chidambaram ticked-off his party colleague saying that there was no evidence for such a conclusion and said he "regretted" Antulay's comments.

These are the relevant portions of what Mulford wrote to Washington, days after the attack, as revealed by WikiLeaks:

"While the killing of three high level law enforcement officers during the Mumbai attacks is a remarkable coincidence, the Congress Party's initial reaction to Antulay's outrageous comments was correct. But as support seemed to swell among Muslims for Antulay's unsubstantiated claims, crass political opportunism swayed the thinking of some Congress Party leaders."

What's more, the party made the cynical political calculation to subtly support the conspiracy theory even after its recent emboldening state elections victories. The party chose to pander to Muslims' fears, providing an impetus for those in the Muslim community who will continue to play up the conspiracy theory.

While cooler heads eventually prevailed within the Congress leadership, the idea that the party would entertain such outlandish claims proved once again that many party leaders are still wedded to the old identity politics. The seventy-nine year old Antulay was probably bewildered to find that his remarks, similar in vain to what he would have routinely made in the past to attack the BJP, created such a furor this time.

Considering that the Ambassador would not have ever imagined that his cables would be public one day, his treatise can be taken as a reasonably objective take on the Congress' penchant for identity politics.

Now that Digvijay has taken the Antulay route on the 26/11 attacks, is it anybody's guess that Digvijay has once again given precedence to the lure of the vote bank over facts and sagacity?

Karkare paid the price for standing up to ‘Hindu Nation’

New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Saturday said that former ATS Chief Hemant karkare called him just hours before the Mumbai attacks saying his life was under threat from Hindu extremists and their supporters within the Indian military establishment.

Digvijay Singh has made a shocking claim on 26/11, similar to that made by former Minorities Affairs Minister A R Antulay over the killing of Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkare during the Mumbai terror attack.

Congress General Secretary has gone on record that he got a call from the Maharashtra ATS chief two hous before the Mumbai terror strike. Singh claims Karkare told him he faced threat from those opposed to Malegaon blast probe.

He said Karkare told him that his life is blighted by constant threats.

Karkare, who was killed along with Ashok Kamte and Vijay Salaskar in the first hour of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, was probing the 2006 Malegaon blast and the 2007 ‘Samjhota Express’ train attack – in which over 60 Pakistanis were burnt alive on Indian soil – alongwith a number of other blasts in which a serving Indian Army Lt. Col. Shrikant

Prasad Purohit and Sadhvi Pragya Singh, member of a Hindu terrorist outfit are the prime suspects.

In addition to Malegaon and Samjhota Express, the other terrorist incidents linked to Col. Purohit and Hindu terror outfits included the Ajmer and Mecca Masjid blasts.

The investigations caused a shockwave around the world initially as it was revealed that Hindu extremists and serving Indian army officers were involved in carrying out

terror attacks in India. The Indian government and security agencies had initially blamed Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Tayba for these attacks.

The the charge sheet filed by the Maharashtra Police against Col. Purohit in a Mumbai Court originally, credits him with planning to create a radical Hindu state and had been in

contact with Israeli officials for support. Police claim Abhinav Bharat, the Hindu radical group blamed for the blasts, which killed seven and wounded more than 100 in Malegaon, had designed a flag and written a constitution and was preparing to form a parallel Hindu government in exile operating out of Israel.

Police claim that the prime suspect in the Malegaon and Samjhota blast cases, Lt Col Prasad Purohit – a serving officer in the Indian army – confessed during his interrogation that he sought Israel’s help to create a Hindu nation as he believed the constitution of India was incapable of dealing with “Islamic militancy”.

The police also believe that the 60kg of RDX explosive used in the Samjhota train blasts came from Lt Col Purohit while he was posted in a military intelligence unit in Kashmir.

Evidence against Lt Col Purohit includes a recorded conversation between him and a co-conspirator, Dayanand Pandey, found on Mr Pandey’s laptop.

“I have contacted Israel. One of our captains has been to Israel, eliciting a very positive response from their side. They have asked us to show them something on the ground

because we have just shown them everything on paper right now. They said wait and watch for six months,” Lt Col Purohit is quoted as saying in the recording and on the charge sheet.

“We had asked for four things: continuous and uninterrupted supply of equipment and training; secondly, to allow us to start our office with a saffron flag in Tel Aviv; thirdly, political asylum; and finally, to support our cause in the United Nations that a Hindu nation is born.”

The latest revelation from Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh that Hemant Karkare recieved death threats from Hindu extremists just hours before his execution shows that Karkare may have paid the ultimate price for attempting to lift the veil on Hindutva terror and its Israeli connections.
