Fellow singers:

I was at an open-house/party in the neighborhood this evening, and after a few drinks and some food someone proposed the idea of doing some caroling in our neighborhood weather permitting either on Sunday the 20th or the evening before Christmas Eve (the 23rd).

The folks I was making quite merry with are a bunch of folks (left leaning do-gooders, social activists, music fanatics, and burned out hippies) who got to talking about making this a real neighborhood.  “Let’s go caroling!”, someone said.  I said great-and suggested I could get some more people to participate---perhaps from St. David’s and beyond.  Everyone said, “hey, great!”  Some folks play recorders and one, a mini bag pipe.

Let me know what you think about it and if some of you would like to be a part of this experiment.

Sincerely,

Thomas E. Price

Oh gosh, I'm all in, too! The 23rd is also the better day for me. Thanks for coming up with this idea and, better yet, sharing it using our nifty choir email address!

Who else is in?

Count me in. Sounds like fun. Either date will work for me.

Sounds good to me!
Wednesday the 23rd it is!
Maybe we can meet up at the Church, or???
And we might need some christmas cheer to stay warm that night too!

I especially like the idea of a little cheer. It may be cold that night.

This is Laura, and I've been trying to get caroling going for YEARS!!  However, I have kids here from out of town, and I will have to consult them on their schedules, as their time is limited.  They are far better singers than I, and maybe they would come?  I have somewhere a big staff with bells on it for keeping time which should be used if I can find it..... I also have song sheets of older or more unusual carols.   The 23rd at 7:30 at Tom's house?   Laura
