Dear Friends and Neighbors:
OK, so it looks like we have a bunch of people excited to do caroling in our neighborhood on the evening of December 23rd.
As I said, we could meet at my house, divide up our music selections and do our caroling. Does 7 p.m. sound like the time to start? Let me know
Is it correct that St. David’s has offered their Parish hall at the end of our caroling for some goodies and/or holiday cheer?
Headlamps, flashlights and or book lights will be a good idea.
Everyone interested email me back to all so that we can get a head count and an idea of how many sheets of music or lyrics we will need.
Since we do not have a great deal of rehearsal time, it would be wise to look to the familiar tunes and if you have several that you are excited to sing, make sure to bring those with copies.
For those who do not want to carol, this is your chance to offer a Wassail station on our route!!
If you do, you will be our heros!! Besides, if we know where you are, I am sure we will make sure to find the way to your house and sing an extra tune or two especially for you!!
Sincerely,
Thomas E. Price

Getting started at my house about 6:30 p.m. is OK by me.
If there is a way to offer Jeanne Lynch and Ellen Mendoza some of the music (they will be playing recorders) it might be nice.

Neighborhood on December 23rd
Dear Ones,
Ellen and I will work on creating recorder scores for most of those familiar
tunes. We've got three hardy recorder players signed up so far.
Hope singers won't be frustrated if we select a different key for our
playing. Since we're all winging it recorders woube be best served if all
music was either in C, G or F.
I think we should start a bit earlier, say, 6:30. It's a weekday night...old
fogies and such. We probably won't carol for hours and hours. It would be nice
to finish up by 8 or 8:30.
