HOMELESS BAGGED MEAL VOLUNTEERING A SUCCESS!

Thanks to all the Young Adults who came out to help prepare and distribute bagged meals to the homeless last week.  We had a great turnout Thursday and Friday night - about 20 volunteers came to make the meals and seven people volunteered to distribute meals.  We served about 63 individuals and handed out the remaining seven meals as seconds.  The Young Adult group participates in this program about once a quarter.  Look for details about the next volunteer opportunity in January.

We are in need of a few volunteers to tend our bar for wine, beer and soft drink sales. We usually schedule 2 people at a time for a period of an hour or hour and a half. In that way it is not a burden for anyone and you can still enjoy the event.  The bar is a great place to meet our community, too!  We would begin scheduling from 6:30PM that evening.  Thank you for your consideration in participating in this way.  Please contact Laura Fitch
fitc...@comcast.net.
