Dear St. Charles Praise & Worship Members,

Greetings all!  My name is Beth, and I am a parishioner (and lector) at St. Charles.  You may see me from time to time lectoring at the 11am mass.  The past few years I've been involved with the Young Adult Community (YACs) at Holy Trinity.

I wanted to take the opportunity today to extend a special invitation to young adults in their 20s and 30s to join us on our upcoming retreat. I know that St. Charles has not been able to offer a retreat in a few years, and this would be a great opportunity to spend some quality time with God in an absolutely gorgeous setting.  I personally extend the invitation to any young adults, ages 22-40  (I'm 28, the average demographic is 27+ young professional) to come join us.

I encourage you all to check out the information in the flyer attached.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Holy Trinity Catholic Church Young Adult Community Fall Retreat

Join us October 15-17 as we explore our hunger for God’s presence in our lives and our desire to put our faith into action.

Retreat activities include Mass, exploration of Ignatian Spirituality, small group discussion, music, fellowship, and opportunities for individual reflection. This is a peer-led event, along with a great pastoral team from Holy Trinity, including Fr. Greg Schenden, SJ and Martina O'Shea, Pastoral Associate for Ignatian Spirituality.

We extend a special invitation to all those who are new to the area, have been away from the Church, or are looking for a faith community.

The retreat begins late Friday evening and ends in the early afternoon on Sunday. Bellarmine Retreat Center is located in Blue Ridge, PA about an hour and a half from DC and Baltimore. Cost is $100, and scholarship assistance is available by contacting Fr. Greg, gsch...@holytrinitydc.org (but also register with us). Carpools are also available, as many retreatants rely on public transportation

For additional information, questions, or to join the Retreat Team, please contact us at yac.retreat@gmail.com.

You can also see more information at our blog at http://holytrinityyacs.wordpress.com.
