The Costs of War

All are invited to the sixth annual peace symposium presented by the
Arlington Diocese Peace & Justice Commission on February 4, 2012, from
10 am to noon, at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 3304 N. Washington
Blvd., Arlington, VA 22205.

We will examine the various costs of war and alternative solutions to
conflict in light of Catholic teaching and practice in the field of
peace-making.

Presenters: Dr. Andrea Bartoli, Dean of George Mason University’s
School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution; Rev. Clement Aapengnuo,
doctoral candidate in George Mason’s School for Conflict Analysis and
Resolution; and Mrs. Carla Walsh, Diocesan Program Coordinator of
Catholic Relief Services.
