ST. CHARLES ADVOCACY SUPPLEMENT—SEPTEMBER 24, 2011

Stop by the Advocacy Committee's table in the lobby outside Benedict
Hall after Mass this weekend and write a brief letter or sign a
petition urging your Senators to support the DREAM Act. This
bipartisan legislation would offer young people who came to the U.S.
undocumented through no choice of their own a hard-earned path to
lawful status, provided they meet strict requirements. During Mass,
you'll learn about the effect the DREAM Act could have from personal
testimonies.

A group representing St. Charles and our fellow Arlington parish Our
Lady Queen of Peace will hand-deliver the letters and petitions to the
offices of Senators Warner and Webb on Tuesday morning (September 27).
