Hi Folks,
Just a quick note. Ballard sends word that College Park's Committee for a Better Environment is meeting tomorrow. Place and time below. From Ballard's reports CBE sounds like a useful group, and it would be great if some of us (esp. those of us in CP) can join in. If I recall correctly, for example, CBE is working on getting curbside composting in College Park.
I don't know if we'll be able to have a meeting in December. I'm pretty swamped and will be travelling next week. It might be better for us to participate in some of the other meetings next week - I will find out from Charlie Jones when the Grounds Task Force is meeting, for example. There is a bit of a flurry as the year wraps up!
Peace,
David

David, Kathleen -
The College Park Committee for a Better Environment (CBE) has lost members
recently, and is looking for new ones. I have been meaning to bring this
up with the Environmental Commission at church, to see if anyone would be
interested in joining CBE, or would know of any likely candidates. CBE is
meeting tomorrow night, 7 PM at City Hall, very close to Saint Andrews. If
either of you would like to drop in for a short while just to see what it is
like, please feel free.
Paul Schwobel was asking me today at church when we would meet again, and I
said I didn't know, but that you had said something about the possibility.
