Walk Saturday Morning! (Weather allowing...)

Hi everyone,

We are still hoping to get our walk in on Saturday Morning!  We'll be strolling on the new-ish path that heads south from Bladensburg Waterfront Park along the Anacostia.  We'll meet at 10 AM.  This is where we canoed some time ago.  The river there is very pretty, and I am excited that the path is finally going in (someday, I believe, it will make it all the way down to the Potomac).  Right now it does not go very far, so this will be more about enjoying the river and some fellowship than exercise.  (Some who attend the walk may choose to run back and forth enough to get lots of exercise...)

Let me know if you have any questions.  We will send an email tomorrow night with an update based on the weather.

Hi everyone!  The weather is iffy tomorrow afternoon, but I've looked in 3 places that agree that it is not likely to rain in the morning.  So let's do it!  If the weather turns nastier than predicted we will send out an email scrubbing in the morning, but right now it looks like it should be a comfortable morning (and the chance of lightning is small).  Bring your binoculars if you have them, it should be good conditions for a walk.  

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!  Again, Bladensburg Waterfront Park at 10AM.  Drive as far in as you can and park back by the boathouse and restrooms.
