I have some questions about NBA player data based on the following observations.

According to the https://www.espn.com/nba/injuries page Quenton Jackson suffered a hamstring injury on 2025/11/18 and didn't play on 2025/11/19.

According to this query run on https://sportsdatabase.com/NBA/query.html

date,team,Player:Quenton Jackson:points,Player:Quenton Jackson:three pointers made,Player:Quenton Jackson:rebounds,Player:Quenton Jackson:assists,Player:Quenton Jackson:steals,Player:Quenton Jackson:blocks,Player:Quenton Jackson:turnovers@date=20251119 and Player:Quenton Jackson:points>=0

Quenton scored 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 blocks, and 2 turnovers on 2025/11/19.

Here are my questions.
  1. Is there something wrong with my query that would be the cause of the incorrect results?
  2. Is there a better source of data on player injuries than what is presented on the ESPN web site?
  3. How does NBA player data get ingested into sports database? I don't know exactly who or what GimmeTheDog is but does this entity offer any claims regarding the accuracy of this data?
  4. Is it possible that this data gets entered early but then gets corrected later? If so, then how long should I wait before querying about recent games?

great points. I went to Sports-reference and saw that Jackson has been inactive since November 5 and is listed as inactive for each game since then.

As for the other questions, I do not know answers to any of them.
