A rich master had a fool for a servant.

One day the master wanted to make bread. He gave his servant a bowl and
sent him to the market to bring back flour and salt.

First the servant bought the flour, filling the bowl with it. Then the
servant bought the salt. When asked how he wanted to carry the salt,
the servant thought for a minute, then remembered the hollow at the
bottom of the bowl. Turning the bowl upside down, the servant told the
salesperson to fill the hollow at the bottom of the bowl.

Carefully the servant carried his bowl back to the master. On
returning, he went directly to the master to present the requested
ingredients.

The master said, "I see the salt, but where is the flour?"
The servant turned the bowl over once more.
