Strawberry

[Abhidevananda]

While walking through a forest, a man encountered a vicious tiger.
Running at full speed to escape, the man soon came to the edge of a
steep cliff. Desperate to save himself, he climbed down a vine and hung
on to that slender thread. After regaining his breath, he looked below
him only to see that tiger waiting now beneath him. He looked up again
and saw two mice - one black and one white - gnawing on the vine. He
looked to his side and saw beside him a ripe, red strawberry. He
reached over and plucked the strawberry. How delicious!
