Dear Colleagues,

With floods continuing to disrupt lives across India—especially impacting children’s education, health, and safety—there is an urgent need to build resilient and inclusive systems that can protect and empower young lives in disaster-prone regions.

In this context, Sphere India Academy is organizing a virtual webinar on Building Resilient Schools and Anganwadis in Flood-Prone Zones: Lessons in Child-Centric DRR
Date: 05th August 2025
Time: 03:00 PM – 04:30 PM IST
Zoom Link: http://tiny.cc/DRR_in_Flood-Prone_Zones

The session will explore practical strategies for resilient infrastructure, inclusive education, and policy integration—placing children at the center of disaster risk reduction.

We request everyone to join and contribute to shaping safer futures for our children.
