URS - Rainfalls in North East India

Dear Colleagues,

 

Torrential rains have caused severe floods and landslides across several districts in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Meghalaya, and Tripura.

 

In response, Sphere India facilitated an IAC meeting on 2nd June 2025, where it was decided to activate the URS Matrix for the Northeast. This will help avoid duplication, enable coordinated efforts, and guide donors/partners in supporting active local responders.
