JOB DESCRIPTION: ADMIN OFFICER, SPHERE INDIA
Position: Sphere India –Admin Officer
Duration: Annual Contract with possible performance-based extension
Location: Delhi/ NCR: Sphere India Secretariat, B 94, Sector 44, Noida, UP.

About the Organisation: Sphere India is a National Coalition of Humanitarian Agencies in India. The members include key nodal agencies from Govt. of India, UN Agencies, INGOs, NGO Networks and National NGOs. Sphere India facilitates Inter Agency Coordination, Knowledge and Capacity Sharing, Collaborative Advocacy and Information Knowledge and Learning Management through a collaborative process for Quality & Accountability. Admin Officer will be providing secretarial support to Sphere India for various admin, logistics, accounting, HR functions of the secretariat and membership drive for the coalition.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for carrying out general office administration tasks of the organization.
- HR functions ensuring compliance with organization policies and procedures.
- Maintaining online and offline correspondence files and documentation
- Maintaining bills/vouchers files against all payment and receipts, coordinating for accounting and audit works
- Expanding Sphere India network by adding more potential members from CSRs, Academic/research institutions, prominent local NGOs, other networks etc.
We are looking for young, energetic, motivated people’s person who is a go getter with flair for networking and marketing.
- Graduation in any stream. MBA in HR/Marketing will be preferred though not essential.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint).
- 2-3 years of administrative, logistics, HR relevant experience.
- A team player with ability to communicate effectively (verbally and writing).
- Dependable, self-motivated person who can keep up to the deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of any regional Indian language is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adept and travel
Salary/fee: Negotiable based on person’s experience and competence.
Reporting
The incumbent will report to Senior Managers Operations, Sphere India, supervise other office support staff, and outsource service agreements.
