Uttar Pradesh is currently grappling with severe flooding due to incessant rainfall across multiple districts. As of 4th August 2025, over 84,000 people across 17 districts have been affected, with significant damage to homes, agriculture, and infrastructure. Major rivers like the Ganga, Yamuna, Betwa, and Chambal are flowing above danger levels in several areas. The state administration, along with NDRF and SDRF, has launched extensive rescue and relief operations.
