Dear Colleagues,

 

India continues to experience increasing climatic variability, with more frequent and intense cyclonic disturbances affecting coastal communities. To strengthen preparedness and resilience, Sphere India is convening a national-level online workshop bringing together key stakeholders.

The workshop aims to enhance inter-agency coordination, strengthen early warning and anticipatory action systems, improve the readiness of cyclone shelters and essential infrastructure, build the capacities of frontline responders and community institutions, and promote comprehensive and inclusive preparedness planning across national, state, district, and community levels.
