The Sphere Handbook, initiated by humanitarian professionals, serves as a globally recognized benchmark for universal minimum standards in key areas like WASH, food security, shelter, and health in humanitarian response. These standards establish a framework to ensure crisis-affected individuals receive protection and assistance with dignity, fostering accountability and quality responses from humanitarian agencies and practitioners.
