Dear Colleagues,

Sphere India is pleased to invite you to the National Webinar on “Invisible Disasters: Tackling Air Pollution through Resilient and Risk-Informed Systems,” being organized under the Sphere India Academy to strengthen cross-sectoral learning, coordinated preparedness, and integrated action on air quality resilience.

Date and Time: 18th November 2025 | 03:00 PM – 04:45 PM (IST)
Registration Link: http://tiny.cc/Air_pollution

Air pollution has emerged as one of the most severe slow-onset disaster risks, with profound implications for public health, urban resilience, and climate governance. This session aims to bring together experts from environmental science, disaster management, public health, academia, and civil society to deepen understanding of India’s air quality challenges and explore pathways for integrating air pollution management into DRR, climate resilience, and health preparedness systems.

We look forward to your valuable participation and insights in this important dialogue on strengthening India’s preparedness and response to air pollution as an invisible but critical disaster risk.
