January 20, 2017 (JUBA)- South Sudan President Salva Kiir has rejected
deployment of the regional protection force with the capacity to place
Juba International Airport under its mandate.

“The government welcomes and accepts the deployment of regional forces
but will not hand over the control of the airport to foreigners.
"I did not fight for 21 years for this country so that whenever I want
to leave the country I have to be subjected to a search by a foreigner
searching me and check what I’m carrying," Kiir said.
"If this is the force they want to deploy, I will not accept,” he stressed.
The President was speaking on Thursday at the State House during the
swearing in ceremony of the new governors.
The south Sudanese leader whose remarks were broadcast by the state
owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation admitted that his
government had accepted in principle deployment of the regional
protection force.
"We welcome this force but the issue of giving airport to them, we
refuse," he added.
He asked the SPLM-IO appointed governors of the faction under Taban
Deng Gai to go help improve the relationships between civilians from
different states.
The state governors, he urged, should cooperate and facilitate free
movements of people and goods.

Let me hope that, H.E President Salva Kiir & His Advisors will
be holding &won’t surrender the nation to foreigners! It’s an
abomination & most impossible thing to happen. If President changes
his mind to allow it happening, then he deserves leaving the seat b’se
these’re lastly dangerous agreements that occur over dead bodies! This
is not a laughing matter!

The other time you mobilised your clueless youth to
demonstrate against the deployment of the RPF, now that’s been
accepted by Kiir albeit begrudgingly. The issue of handing Juba
airport to this force is just a matter of time. Kiir will soon be
cornered like Yahya Jamme of The Gambia. Kiir is a shame to Africa!!!

Eastern and Jubaone, tow guys from our Equatoria
region think that International Community will invade Juba and give
them power while they are hiding outside the country. Dream, Dream and

South South,
Well, that’s your business, as Equatorians we know
what we are capable of and the international community knows that. You
jienges know there is nothing you can offer except claiming that the
international community wants a regime change. If that brings the
desired peace then to hell with Kiir and his jienges system.

Shadrack Nuer,
Kiir invited and deployed about 250 UPDF mercenaries at
the airport in 2014 against Riak’s attacking forces. These were
foreigners. So what the f**k. The airport is good as hopeless, poorly
manned, outdated technique and radar systems, hopeless jienge
management (airport director is a jienge). So the RPF just want
professional logistics to ensure safe transport of the force. That is

Jubaone,
Nothing good will come with those Regional foreign
troops to South Sudan otherwise they will be like 13,000 UNMISS forces
present inside South Sudan. However, any foreign troops entering to
different nations will be under agreement so that UPDF entering South
Sudan was through agreement between two nations.

Akuma,
SS under Kiir has already lost it’s sovereignty.
Deploying the RPF is just trying to keep what is already
disintegrating. Kenya is occupying the Ilemi Triangle, Uganda has
taken parts of Acholi and Madi areas, Sudan has taken Abyei, Hufrat en
Nahas, Mafia Kingi, DRC tried to annex part of Lasu, so just let these
forces do their job.

An agreement is a recognition of the condition for acceptance of
its terms. To disagree with those terms of protocol is a total
disregard of agreement that defines lack of integrity of the
Government in any peace deals. There is no flip flopping on peace. The
government of Kiir should be watched carefully on deception and
misinformation.

Reject it please mr president you didn’t fight alone in the 20+
years please reject this force. If you don’t this will be the end of
South Sudan as we know it.the UN is not there to bring peace it’s
there to get pay and they get money when we fight I don’t see how are
they going to stop their money machine.

King Kush,
Kiir is scared cos his chances of fleeing the country maybe
reduced once he is to be convicted to the ICC. But I think if they
give him a few $ dollars he will immediately change his mind.

In africa their policy is to let the minority rule to have full
control of the government and through the minority they can control
the majority if they control the government. we have a prime examples
Ethiopian and Sudan they have never and will never be in control of
their OWN country.

Mr. confused president, who do you think will believe you anymore?
How many times you reversed your crazy commitment? Your deadlock brain
never delivered anything. You always rely on Mr. Malong. Otherwise,
you would have been a gone alga. Truth me, if you happen to changed
your mind tomorrow and give up on that nation’s international airport,
then you MUST prepare yourself to join Mr. Machar!

If you know how to play best team, you may have good chance of
defeating them. However, if you undermine that you have chances of
losing game. Kiir from day when he accepted the RPF, he should work on
modality and condition, but he was on denial and acceptances and that
team keep on striking and until they defeat Kiir. Airport was priority
aftermath of the J1 incident, but Kiir may have argument,

if well structured in diplomatic ways, but barking at
international community as Makuei Lueth do, diminishing the chance of
compromises, South Sudan is not Island and must be in conformity with
international law, treaties and membership, yesterday at Shirkat I
have seen long convoys of UN truck bring in vehicle branded with UN
sign, what left if Airport, but why we denied the fact before?

Kiir, if you’re not concentrating on leading this nation, then you
MUST excuse yourself from this post! There are millions sons and
daughters of RoSS who are capable of this job! You’re fit to be a
Bishop of any Catholic Diocese/ churches in RoSS. accept and reject,
accept and reject, accept and reject regional forces! what the hell is
going on here?

Truthfully Kiir fears everything including even his own shadow.
Any checking at Juba airport will always be done in good faith and
according to his government’s oversight. But of course with the lack
of statesmanship that he has, he always imagines otherwise. Grow up
Kiir, you have been stunted for too long in politics.

Do not give sovereignty to RPF. The safety of South Sudanese is
paramount regardless of the differences. The RPF came to protect the
ACRSS and civilians but granting them control of airport means,
allowing do illegal activities. You will see trading in minerals
sooner after allowing airport control. Most UN Peacekeepers are
corrupted and business minded. See the mess in INGOs that are
cheating.

Juba must accept the whole agreement about international
deployment of peace keepers or openly pronounce loud and clearly total
rejection of this peace keeping force in the country. It should not
sit on the fence about this matter. it should show its brand of
leadership to the world.
