May 17, 2017 (JUBA) - South Sudanese President Salva Kiir on Wednesday
called for international support to the government efforts to
implement the peace deal signed in August 2015 saying that the process
is entering a critical stage.

President Kiir made the remark on Wednesday after meeting the Egyptian
ambassador to the South Sudan who paid him a courtesy call aimed at
following the outcome of the earlier visit to Cairo.

“With the support of the region which included the role played by the
Egyptian and the people of Egypt, we made significant progress with
the implementation of the agreement".

"Most of the key issues have been implemented but now we are entering
a critical stage. We are in the process of integration of the forces
indicated in the agreement into the army. This is now in progress and
this requires support from the region and the international community
in terms of training so that we transform the army into a professional
service institution”, said President Kiir.

Kiir said Egypt remains an important regional ally in technical
support to train and equip the army with necessary military skills and
capabilities especially in air and riverine units in the army.

The South Sudanese President was in Cairo in January 2017 for talks on
bilateral relations. At the time it was purported that Egypt plans to
rally Kiir in an alliance aiming to destabilise Addis Ababa and
Khartoum in order to preserve its interests as the Ethiopian
government is building near the Sudan border that may threaten its
share of Nile water.

The South Sudanese presidency vigorously denied that Juba had accepted
an Egyptian request to support and harbour Ethiopian rebels during a
recent visit of President Salva Kiir to Cairo.

The Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Adly said his country remains ready to
continue giving support to South Sudan, but he did not specify the
support his country would provide the government of President Kiir.

Security implementation?!!! How comes South Sudan still have
rebellion forces all over the country?

not yet included; leave alone IO’s Riek are not part of this!!! Maybe
Dau Atorjong’s forces of Mading Aweil!!!

The Kiirminal is allowed to daydream and be fanciful. The fool
will always remain in his own shit even when it smells. . Close to
3.5m starving, 1.2m fled the country, 3.2m IDPs, no cantonment, war
still raging, no control over the country. What peace if the Kiirminal
even can’t go to his own village? Kiirminal is mentally sick or at
best a donkey on two legs.

Jubaone,

Everything you mentioned is wrong.

1- We have 100000 starving, not 3.5m (UN is a big witness to that.
2- Only rebel fled the country, no one knows how many
(1.2m) is just something from the top of your mind.
3- Where are 3.2m IDPs, maybe you add monkeys,
4- population of South Sudan is about 9m to 10m, but let’s
add up your numbers: 3.5m+1.2m+3.2m= 7.7m, what a lie!!!!!!

The Peace Agreement is reaching a critical stage because Kiir is
fast running out of people he can blame his fake coups on.
7 times Kiir said there was a attempted coup and regime change

2004 John Garang & Nhial Deng Nhial
2006 Gen. Oyai Deng Ajak
2007 Gen Mamur
2011 Majak D’Agoot & Nhial Deng Nhial
2012 Maj. Gen. Simon Gatwec Dual
2013 SPLM Former Detainees
2016 Riek Machar

Next time Kiir will blame YOU for the coup.

Or your uncle, your brother, your cousin ....

And that is why the Peace Agreement is at a critical stage.

Little man, your words are as wise as you can possibly
make them. Your thoughts show your level of intelligence and
education. Do you often find, when commenting, that the adults are
using ideas that you are not capable of understanding?
Do you have a helper who peels fruit for you to eat,
or have you learned to do this all by yourself?

Mr. Point,

Very measured respond.

Thank you,

Mr. President, you don’t have to scare public, if that’s what
you’re thinking. What let it so critical? You have been integrating
rebels into since 2002 up to date and it has never been so critical.
Why this one? I hope all rebels are not demanding the ranks of the
general! Is your peace partners think the same way or is it just you
alone?

I recited this in my occasional comments, that Taban will not
rest till he ask you, Mr. President to decree yourself out by
republicans decree # unknown 2017. So, the question of why an
integrating the opposition forces become critical, because you Mr.
President have been favoring rebels since day 1. Instead, you’re still
insisting of humiliating the loyalists directly in face of rebels.

Mr. Kush Natives, these SUDAN TRIBUNE and Radio Tamazuj
news are all 90% sheer propaganda. Don’t always take them seriously. I
always comment here, but l know where these trolls are from. Yes,
there are some fools in our country who give these criminals
information about our affairs. Sudan tribune is edited in France and
North Sudan, and so does Radio Tamazuj>>>

Just look how these shoddy articles of theirs often
carry no names of those who write them. Only Tesfa Takle of Ethiopia
often post his name with his article. The other section with Sudan
tribune you can take seriously is News and analysis section.
Otherwise, these craps are pure propaganda to destroy South Sudan and
the South Sudanese people.

@ Kush, shifting blaming is not mind of
intellectual people but for semi-profession minded. You always blame
non actors on our problem and not forthcoming with solution either.
Propaganda is tool of war too. Kush Native asked importance question,
why it critical this time around to integrated rebels than before. But
you obsessed with denial and ignorance made you not to pick up that
smart question

Till we accept the truth and admit that rebellion is still in
country, peace can never be achieved. What peace implementation are
you talking about when there is fighting current around Yei & Upper
Nile.
We need to reason widely, more money and time has been wasted for
peace with the aim that Taban D. Gai could unite IO but he failed to
do so.
Government should seek for other alternative

Folks,

The two con men in Juba, Kiir and Taban want to dube the world on
behalf of suffering South Sudanese when these same people are already
being looked after by UN and NGOs. The world should not waste her
taxpayers money to buttress a tribal government of goons and
murderers.

Kiir,

I hope you are fearing integration for Paul Malong forces
otherwise you are talking out of your mind. Taban Deng has no forces
as we all knows. SPLA-IO is not ready to be integrated until you come
to your senses and steps aside. King Paul will reply you soon just
wait! Ba duol jaani dak! (i will destroy Jieng Council of Evil(JCE)).
