Gogrial governor appoints new deputy

GORGIAL (10 Mar.)

The Governor of Gogrial State, Gen. Gregory Deng Kuac, has issued a decision appointing a new deputy after a week-long consultation with intellectuals and political leaders in the state.

In a gubernatorial decree on Thursday, Governor Deng appointed Agoth Maperdit as his deputy replacing Santino Akot Abiem who was removed earlier this month.

In another decree, the governor appointed Ariec Mayar Ariec as new minister of information, youth, culture and sports replacing Adior Kuol Amum.

The top state official urged the people of Gogrial to accept the new changes, saying he wants to improve service delivery in the state.
