Gentlemen,

Before we dig into the upcoming slew of events like a Thanksgiving feast, I want to congratulate you all on a successful Fall season.  If we're all present and working hard this Winter and Spring, the Fall season will be ours for the taking, and I haven't been able to say that in awhile.  The next month I will be working on setting up the Spring schedule.  I'd like to schedule a match or two dedicated to starting a "second" side, giving our normal starting 15 some rest and allowing our impact players an opportunity to get valuable playing time.  To do this we need to keep our numbers up at practice.  More to come as the schedule starts to take shape.  In the meantime, keep recruiting.

Get your Holiday bests from the cleaners, come celebrate the Holidays with your best friends and enjoy the club's award ceremonies.  If you can, please bring an unopened toy for our toy drive.

Kyle Dandrow Polar Plunge

New Year's Day @ noon

Nantasket Beach

Honoring our departed Kyle Dandrow, we plunge into the frigid waters of Hull to raise money for his Scholarship fund.  Post plunge activities across the road at the Parrot.

AGM

Saturday 1/10 @ 10 am

One of the most important dates on our calendar.  The AGM is where we elect the next Board to represent our team and the club.  You must be paid up on your dues to nominate, be nominated and vote.  Nomination forms will be sent out in the coming weeks.  We had over 30 registered players this Fall, let's get everyone to the AGM and vote!

Winter Training

Wednesday's 8-9:30

Union Point Bubble 2

Training for Spring starts 1/7 in the bubble.  The cost for all 10 sessions will be $75 to offset the cost of practice time.  This is a great opportunity to get into rugby shape and continue to build continuity in the side.

Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5k

Saturday 3/14 @ 10 am

One of the newest club traditions, we attempt to burn enough calories by sprinting around the Marshfield shore to offset what we'll be consuming on St. Patrick's Day.  Sign up by 12/31 to get the discounted price of $30 and guarantee yourself a race t-shirt.  I'll be forming a race team before the new year.
