Gentlemen,

Now that we have 2025 in the books, it's time to get focused on what's ahead, as we have a number of events leading into the start of the Spring.  Speaking of focusing, please read until the end.

Winter Training
Wednesday's 8-9:30
Union Point Bubble 2
Training for Spring starts Wednesday in the bubble.  The cost for all 10 sessions will be $75 to offset the cost of practice time.  Great opportunity to start shedding the holiday cookies.

AGM
Saturday 1/10
10 am
Cardinal Cushing Center
405 Washington St.
Hanover, MA
The list of positions up for re-election and their respective candidates can be found on our website.  Please do everything you can to be in attendance or reach out to Chris for an absentee ballot.  We'll most likely be congregating at Tink's following.

Anchors Semi-Normal
Saturday 2/7
7pm
Cushing Memorial Hall
Polish up your best sneakers, get your suits from the cleaners and come out to enjoy an evening of fine dining and dancing with the club.  See the link below for tickets.

Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5k
Saturday 3/14
One of the newest club traditions, we attempt to burn enough calories by sprinting around the Marshfield shore to offset what we'll be consuming on St. Patrick's Day.  if you didn't sign up by 12/31 it's going to cost you an extra $5.  When you register, select South Shore Rugby Football Club as your team.

Spring Schedule
NERFU has graciously volunteered to coordinate scheduling this Spring, a departure from years past where it was a scramble to try and fill dates.  I have requested 4 matches, starting on 4/11, with a bye on 5/2.  The NERFU tournament in Newport is scheduled for 5/9.  I'll pass on information as it's sent to me.

Montreal
We've gotten decent interest in a Montreal trip this Spring, so I've reached out to 2 sides, the Montreal Barbarians and Montreal Wanderers, for a match in May.  I've yet to hear back from either side.  More to come.

Last, but not least, pay your DUES.

If you don't know, now you know.
