Fellow HistComm Members:
I have taken into account your schedule preferences and I have found the
date best for the greatest number of members.
We and Bonnie Parsons will meet on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. in
the library of South Hadley High School. I want us to have internet access
for this meeting, and the high school secretary has kindly agreed to my
request to arrange that.
I will soon send you a couple of emails containing information relevant to
our meeting.
I clarified today that our meetings, under Mass. General Laws, Chapter 30A,
Section 11A (the Open Meeting law), must be posted 48 hours in advance. The
only postings that can be done only one day in advance are for "emergency
meetings." Note also that I posted this as a "working meeting." That means
that we will not take any votes at this meeting.
Jo: Judy Barthelette told me that she can accept meeting announcements by
email, that she will post. I sent the announcement to her, so you do not
need to ask her to post the meeting.
Again, please note that we will meet in the library of South Hadley High
School. Please RSVP.
- Bob
