Train station construction is expected to start next week

The first step in construction will be to fence off the tracks and vacant lot on Maple Street. When this happens, commuters walking to the station from the Maple Street will have to walk across the Rt. 27 bridge and down Railroad Street to the station platform. After about 6 months, the Maple Street entrance to the station will open, and commuters will be able get directly onto the inbound platform.
