The Chicago Police Department, in partnership with the Chicago Urban League, is recruiting candidates to fill 70 to 80 entry-level Police Officer positions. The recruitment session will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 10 am to 1 pm, at our headquarters located at 4510 S. Michigan Ave. It is an opportunity for people to be a part of the solution to current policing problems and have a positive impact on the community. Please, be encouraged to forward to others who may be interested in public safety work. The basic minimum qualifications to start the application process for the Police Officer position is as follows:
a. You must age 18 to apply
b. You must have a high school diploma or GED
c. You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident at the time of hire
d. You must have an active email address or create a new one at the time of application
