Vol.1 Issue 4. | Fall 2007
http://www.ceed.info/news/?issueid=9
We've had a busy fall.
We brushed off the sand and sun in September and, since then, CEED's
calendar has been chock-full of networking events, training,
workshops, program launches and more. YEP and Second Chance, our
social entrepreneurship programs, celebrated the achievements of their
participants. We launched the Self-Employment Benefits Program, along
with the new CEED Training Centre, in style and we kicked off Small
Business Week with our second annual Fresh Ideas event for
entrepreneurs. In between events, we conducted training and
professional development (including a two-day session for CEED staff)
and networked at many tradeshow and partner events.
Just before we launched into all this, we welcomed our new President,
Kathy Murphy. Talk about hitting the ground running - Kathy has been
going non-stop since joining the CEED team. We couldn't be more
excited to have Kathy on board as our leader. Find out more about
Kathy's life before CEED here.
Enjoy the Fall 2007 issue of the Entrepreneurs Edge, where you'll find
more information about what we've been up to this season, success
stories and more.
