I was thinking of zooming around in the guts of the computer. sometimes in slowmotion. to show like "So the bastard packets started in the main CPU. whooosh. but his little data packet kids were rode over to Little GPU town by serial bus. whoosh"
(except i think it'd be cooler never to use acronyms).
* agreed. green tint mandatory.
* I think what you're describing (actually act it out as if it were a crime scene) could be hilarious.
Like Agent Debugger interrogates some instances the tween family. finds out The Garbage Collector has been bumping them off.
So a clear analogy is laid out (and people learn something!) and then the "ah ha! we figued it out" could be represented with intense violence (gun shots) and emotion (crying).
Though sometimes i imagine this could be really hard to write. accurately.
*basically, it'd be TRON cops. ...
which is kinda cool. but kinda been done?
... for some reason i think the "green tint" could work really well. like we could dress up with a couple weird helmets or vests with weird ass 3D reflective tape. I immediately think of you funny improv costumes for Kshawn's scifi shorts. bet it would be instantly charming. (i immediatly think "We'd definitely need cartoonishly large glowing cyber-cigarettes hanging from each debuggers mouth)
so it's like green tinted reality with hints of TRON effects here and there. (i'm guessing this would be better than attempting shitty 2d flash animations, or awkward flailing poser animations).
* Is this the way to go?
For this work, how would you handle the nonTRON parts? like boring nerds typing? or would they also be bad ass cops of the IT world? (It's just that their TRON counterparts actually get to fire guns and tear people to bits?)
hmmmz.
I'll try to work up a sample plot/story.

... p.s. "CSI:berspace" ?
