Members and friends arrived from not only the Midlands of SC but also
from NC to enjoy the sun and the camaraderie of this annual event. A
Douglas Fir was planted in a 5-gallon container that needs a year's
growth before planting it in a permanent sunny location. It will be
added to the auction.
Snacks were varied, different, and totally disappeared by the end of
the event. The "bison" burgers were perfectly prepared and grilled
thanks to three of the attendees. The potato salad and other fixin's
completed the main course. Homemade brownies and honey cake along with
the premium black raspberry/chocolate ice cream were the perfect
ending to the dinner. Our ladder toss champion remains the same. The
new bean bag toss game does not as yet have a winner.
The next event is on May 7th in Hopkins, SC beginning at 2:30. World
Naked Gardening Day will be celebrated by continuing to add to
Travelites' Garden after which the Mexican Fiesta will begin with the
battle of the piñata followed by a Potluck Supper with a Mexican
theme.
That day the auction to help support not only the AANR Education
Foundation, American Nudist Research Library, and the Naturist Action
Committee but also Sistercare, a charity for abused women and their
children, begins. Below is the listing of auction items. You are
