Hi folks,
I hope this email finds you well.
My new book, Never Out of Season, comes out on March 14th (which isn't for a while, I know), but I've been able to convince Little Brown to send free seeds for our new citizen science project to anyone who buys the book in advance.
The citizen science project focuses on the biology of squash and cucumber plants and engages any and everyone willing to grow those plants to help us document the plant's pollinators, pests and deadly pathogens. It will be the first of many new projects we are initiating in what we are calling the science of farm to table (or, perhaps more accurately, the science of farm to table to toilet since we are still doing a fair bit of work on gut microbes).
In any case, if you would like to order the book early and have Little Brown send you heritage seeds that you can plant and tend to and help study, the link is here:
Best wishes,
Rob
