Minor issue after restart or slow start of Skype

I have a small issue with the gadget after it re-connects to Skype after Skype has restarted, the Sidebar has restarted, or simply Skype was slow to start on logon.

The gadget does not remove the notification message after the connection is re-established, and remains indefinitely, obscuring the list in the gadget (screenshots attached)
