Peace house Iftar Dinner Invitation : a Gathering for Peace
The Holy month of Ramadan comes to us every year to bring people together in prayer , solidarity with the poor and peace for those who are fasting the Holy month .
The people house is an activist collective that works with Concepcion Piccotto a woman who has dedicated her life to ending wars , encouraging and educating about concepts of peace and social justice .
For the Holy month of Ramadan , we
would like to host our own Ramadan Iftar on the 9th of August 2012 in the Peace
House.
In this Iftar we are calling people of all faiths to come join us in a communal peace and tolerance celebration of Ramadan .
The evening will engage people in
topics and conversations of peace , reconciliation
and the power of the people united .
When ? August 9 2012
Time ? We will gather together starting 730 pm and enjoy each others company until 930 pm or even longer if your guests wish to
