Dear Sino-Eco members and friends,

It’s time to elect a new president to lead our community from August 2024 to July 2026, as per the Sino-Eco election bylaws. All members who have paid their membership dues (which can be done online at any time) and are willing to take on a leadership role are eligible to run.

Please submit your nomination (self-nominations are encouraged) to both Sino-Eco President Dr. Jiafu Mao at jiafu...@gmail.com and Secretary Dr. Lifei Wang at lifei...@utoronto.ca by the close of business on June 21, 2024.

Campaign statements and credentials for all nominated candidates will be distributed to members on July 5 for voting. The election results will be announced by July 19, 2024.

We have received a nomination for the next Sino-Eco president. Attached are the campaign statement and credential from Prof. Lixin Wang, who has served two terms on the Sino-Eco executive committee as the Awards and Scholarship Officer.

Please cast your vote to elect Prof. Wang as the next Sino-Eco president by replying to this email with a "yes" or "no." Make sure to also copy Dr. Lifei Wang (lifei...@utoronto.ca) in your response. The poll will close at the end of the day on July 15, 2024.
