*** Apologise for writing in English ***
===========================
Dear All,
I have a few queries about Sinhala Unicode fonts.
1. Currently I have the Sinhala Enabling Pack installed and use the
"Iskola Pota" font to write in Sinhala Unicode. But I cannot see
anything I've translated in Google in Sinhala from a PC, without the
Sinhala Enabling pack. This is not what I expect when I write/
translate something Sinhala Unicode.
2. For instance, I have access to several office computers, which they
(or my login) do not have permission to install any Fonts or Software.
But I can read News Papers like Divaina, Lakbima and
www.lankaenews.com
website (though I don't like it - it's a different matter) on these
computers. But I cannot view the Translations I did in Google. For
example login to
www.google.lk and select the "Sinhala" option from a
computer, which does not have Sinhala Package installed. You can't see
"Sinhala" or "Sri Lanka" under the "Google" logo in Sinhala. How
Divaina, Lakbima and the above said website developed their websites
with facility to read from any computer, regardless they have Sinhala
fonts installed or not?
3. What are the solutions for me to change/update my Translations in
Google (more than 200 entries) to display in Sinhala properly?
Can anyone advise on this please?
Regards,
Dhammika
