Health Update - Kadamba Kanana Swami View online Health update from Kadamba Kanana Swami. My dear disciples Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Not a blade of grass moves without the will of the Lord and everything is going on by a divine plan. How to begin this letter? Recently I have been involved in a fast chain of events. I went to the hospital in Mumbai for a hemorrhoids or piles operation, however as it turned out the piles were not piles, rather it was a tumor in the rectum. At that stage I decided to go to South Africa because we get better care there. Yesterday they have operated and removed the tumor, unfortunately pathology showed that it was malignant. The next stage is another operation to remove surrounding tissue, this operation will happen soon in the next few days. I have a good chance to survive, but it depends what more comes to light as the procedure unfolds.The good news is that so far no spreading has been found, it is quite localized so that is favorable. At this stage everything is in Krsna's hands, there is not much that I can do. For the immediate I have to suspend my travels, so the upcoming visit to Mayapur and Australia will be impossible. I might still come to Europe for the Vyasa-puja, I will try, although I might send all of you to have the Kingsday, while I will rest in Radhadesh. When Srila Prabhupada became very ill, he introduced the Nrsimha pranama and told his disciples to sing it, while praying, my dear Lord , our spiritual master has not finished his work, please let him remain with us for longer. You may dedicate some prayer and Kirtan on my behalf. You are all wonderful people, I know you personally and I know that you have a heart of gold. I pray, that you may find the strength to dedicate yourself to devotional service for the rest of your life. It is so nice If we can approach Krsna at the end of life, when there is no sin, then there is an open heart and no fear of death. So let us have some patience and wait to see what more will come.
