After almost two years without a release, I'm happy to announce
Silvern Castle version 9.4 - enjoy!

This is a very minor update - here's the change list:

Bugs Fixed in v9.4:
o In some cases the encumbrance display at camp incorrectly displayed
the penalty.

Stuffed Changed in v9.4:
o The B)urden display at camp now shows the exact amount of cn needed
to remove any encumbrance penalty.
o Moved the Market C)amp command from the Blue Knight Tavern to the
main menu I)nspect Party option.
o Higher chance for more monsters in lairs, depending on level.
o Tweaked door outlines.

I've had this update on the back-burner for some time - nice to see
some feedback, it's given me the incentive to finally release it. The
biggest change is the forward door outlines look more in perspective.

That is great....I hope it keeps up.  It would be nice to have some programs like this really drive the Apple II world a bit more back to life...it has been kind of slow lately.

I thought I was part of the Silvern Castle group.  When I went to Yahoo it said no.  Would it be possible to have Silvern Castle sent to me on a 3.5 disc?

I usually charge a $15 fee to send out a physical disk - however right
now I'm not able to do so since my Apple IIgs is currently in storage
and I won't have time to set it back up for at least a few more weeks.

Perhaps another kind reader will respond to help you out in the
meantime.

By the way, this is a Google group and you are a member (since Jun
2008). Hope that helps.

You have such a nice program, it is nice that you got some publicity.  I have not messed with my Apple is a while and after a couple of PC crashes I have lost my Apple files.  Somewhere they are back up but I don't know where.

I am sorry that I allowed myself to move away from my 8 bit apple.  gs is slow to boot and buggy.  Bring back floppy booting programs!
