written in 1982. "The Amazing Maze" by Brian Fitzgerald (author of
Taxman and co-founder of H.A.L. Labs).

Wish I had this information back in the day - I had to write the maze
plotter for Silvern Castle from scratch. Looks like for the most part
I reinvented the wheel.

As it is, although parts are written in assembly, my implantation is
still rather slow; and it suffers from "tunnel-vision" (i.e. although
you see up to 3 squares forward, you can only see 1 square to the left
and right).
