To:
elias...@gmail.comHi Elias!
You have a secured a spot on one of the teams for Sydney Startup Camp II
- we look forward to seeing you on Friday night! Here are some details
that might help you plan for the weekend.
Directions:
The event will be held in the main hall of the ATP Innovations building.
The address is:
Suite 145, Level 1, National Innovation Centre Australian Technology
Park Eveleigh NSW 1430
http://www.atp-innovations.com.au/finding-us-directions/
Enter through the front entrance, as the side doors may be closed. The
easiest way to get there is from the Redfern Station, exit at the bottom
of platform 10 by going up the stairs near the Underworld ad. Follow the
short path and go down the stairs at the other end. It should take you
no longer than 5-10 minutes. The building in front of you is the ATP
Innovations building. If you get lost, just contact us at 0401984056.
Doors open at 6 PM on Friday and dinner will be served starting then.
Plan to arrive no later than 7 PM, for the official kickoff.
Parking:
Parking is limited, so try to take the train. There is some street
parking on Cornwallis St. if you are driving.
What to bring:
* Laptop - if you don't have a laptop or have an extra laptop, let us
know so we can arrange swaps for the weekend
* Long power extension cord and power board – Let me know if you don't
bring one
* Network hub/router or wireless router – Let me know if you bring one,
we only have one network port, so we need a whole bunch of these
* Long network cable so you can plug into the network hub – Let me know
if you don't bring one
* Headphones for startups that involve audio/video
* Sweater as the building may get cold at night
* By the way, does anyone have a coffee/espresso machine they can bring?
Let us know!
Sleeping and Showers:
* Saturday night is reserved for some sleeping (or further partying if
sleeping is not your thing) - the launch should end by 10:30 pm and
Sunday begins at 9-10 AM.
* For catnaps and for those who will be crashing at ATP - there are
several comfy looking couches and there is some floor space to put your
air mattress
* There are both men's and women's showers on site in the bathrooms
Eating:
* Thanks to several generous sponsors - Hiive, EvansCorp,
SimpleSponsorship, Carbon Free Solutions, most meals will be provided
