This is the only chance Sikhs have had in 10 years to get recognised as an ethnic group in the UK Census.

How to fill it out correctly:

So under ethnicity Question 16E please tick "other" and then write in "Sikh".

Question 20 (Religion) please tick "Sikh"

Also, try to find out what your local Gurdwara/ community centre is doing to provide support to help Sikhs that can't read or write in English. How will they complete the census form? What is your local council doing to help? Are they providing drop in centres with interpreters? Can you help?

Remember, there's a £1000 fine if you don't complete the form! So please take this seriously!!!

FINALLY, pls find attached the Sikh Census poster...a bentee to you all, pls print it out as either A2 or A3 and put up in your local Gurdwara's/ Community Centre's

Pls Pls fwd!!
