Post a Message to Join the group

This is a straightforward way to join, when you try to post a message,
Google Groups will ask you to join.

You already did it Bill.  You posted a message with the googlegroup address, or perhaps responded to Michael's.  I imagine it told you that you weren't a member and it asked you to join.....and obviously you did, or the post would not have gone through. 

On the other hand, I just enrolled through the group page to start with.....gee, I thought I might have been first, but see I was third.  But then this is my sixth googlegroup, four of which I manage.

This is the easy part;-)
